Combo brows is a combination of two forms of semi-permanent techniques: microblading and powder brows (shading). Microblading hair-strokes are placed with a manual tool around the border of the brow to give the brow a natural look. Shading is added to saturate eyebrows with pigment to ensure a longer lasting result. This procedure is best for dry and normal skin types.

Powder brows is a cosmetic semi permanent makeup technique designed to create eyebrows with soft powder effect, very similar to powder makeup. Powder effect is done with a shading technique using a permanent makeup device, which is similar to a tattoo gun. This procedure is best for all skin types.

The cosmetic tattoo procedure requires at least two appointments. The first hour of your appointment includes a thorough consultation where we discuss details of the procedure and I am able to answer any questions. Then we proceed to brow mapping, where I create the shape, and look of your new eyebrows using an eyebrow pencil. Once the design process is finished, the procedure begins. Lidocaine is applied continuously to provide comfort throughout the procedure. The first session typically takes 2-3 hours depending on all the above. Service is not complete until 6-10 week final touch up session.

Numbing antiseptic is applied throughout procedure. Each client is different when experiencing pain level associated with Microblading or Shading, tolerance varies. Every skin type holds a different level of sensitivity and we won’t know yours until we begin but the results are always worth it!
Do I have to shave my eyebrows off?

Not at all. We map out the shape based on facial structure, current brows, and symmetry of the client’s face. Any unwanted hairs that are not desired in the new brow look will be removed. Please do not shave off eyebrows, that is never encouraged.

There is no guarantee to how long the tattoo appearance will last given there are a lot of factors that must be considered. [i.e. skin type, skin care regimen, sun exposure, iron deficiency, hormones, etc.] Generally, the procedure tends to last anywhere from a full year to three years.

Your new brows will go through quite a bit of changes throughout the healing process. Do not panic! At first they will be very dark, within the first 2 weeks or so they will lighten up about 40%. In the first 10 days, you will notice mild scabbing and flaking… this is normal and expected. Scabs will naturally fall off and it is crucial you do not pick at the scabs. During week 3, the skin is going through its regeneration phase as the ink is settling and it may even appear that the tattoo has vanished. No worries! In week 6, is it very important that you schedule any necessary touch ups that the scabs may have taken the ink from while healing.
